Guitar, Accordion and Musical Saw Performance

This is a video of me playing with “Le Jardin De Luxembourg” a.k.a Luxembourg Koen リュクサンブール公園 a seven piece all women accordion ensemble including other various instruments such as flutes and even a musical saw. You can usually find them at parties, events and converts ripping around Osaka making people dance with their fantastic arrangements.

This street performance was for a store opening event in Minami Semba Osaka in…I hate to think how long ago it was. I hope I can make it down to Osaka again to jam with the lovely ladies again. You can check out their profiles here in Japanese. (note: they’ve included their blood types)

Very very cool dooood. Has a very retro 50s UFO-ish sound too it. I always wonder how they made that sound. What part of Osaker was this in?

That musical saw is reminiscent of the Theremin which was an electronic instrument used in those 1950s sci-fi / horror movies. Theremin on Wiki
