Blow your speakers
I’m pretty excited to annouce a new website my unstoppable friend Stone and myself are releasing. It’s called Blow Your Speakers and features mash ups, DJ mixes and original compositions all from Tokyo. This will be our digital musical playground and hope to be putting up music for your listening pleasure.
For the time being, armed only with some turn tables and the last of our pay checks, Stone and myself will be hunter vinyl gathering in the concrete jungle and record stores of Tokyo to bring you some of the freshest beats, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, rap and more.
Also, if you are a DJ, musician, composer or a general funkster we will be happy to take submissions so you can shamelessly promote your musical activities and genius to the world
For our first contribution, Mix Tape Zero is up containing some very funky and soulful music mash ups.
